You Can Make A Difference!

Audubon of Florida has made each Audubon chapter part of a region in order to allow chapters in a geographic region to cooperatively develop conservation strategies on issues that impact the natural resources of their area. Florida is divided into 6 Conservation Commissions, which take the ecosystem areas of the state into account and generally follow the boundaries of the Water Management Districts:

We need your help to accomplish our 4 conservation priorities. Everyone has a place in conservation action. Commit to contribute your time in any of the following ways:

  • Learn about the 4 conservation priorities
  • Impart your knowledge to others
  • Volunteer at Street Audubon Center
  • Volunteer on conservation lands
  • Make your own backyard a wildlife sanctuary
  • Make Street Audubon Center a wildlife sanctuary

Audubon of Florida has an online advocacy center to support Florida's regional conservation priorities. The advocacy center is for members. It effectively sends your opinion on important environmental issues to decision makers.

By signing up to use the online advocacy center, you can access the password protected web site to send messages on issues you are concerned about. You will also receive timely conservation alerts about critical issues in Florida. You will have a voice by clicking here.
